First time I tried this wine some years ago I thought it was a Pinot for Shiraz lovers. It remains a full bodied Pinot with black cherry and black plum with fluid soft tannins. Easy to like and very much a new world Pinot. Good with Duck Pancakes at a good Asian Restaurant on the Gold Coast.

Red and blue fruits give way to orange zest , animal fur ,baking spices violets and minerals . Rich and full-bodied on the palate yet has Wonderful elegance and mineral infused finish with lingering cherry and dry extract . This wine comes from the valley floor and you get the richness and depth from the heavier soil. A stunning bottle that will improve over the next few years and last at least a decade more .

On the nose, dark cherries, strawberries, raspberries, black oil, balk earth and red roses. On the palate, the fruit match the nose with the addition of blueberries, medium spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, crushed rocks, red roses, dark soil, dry stems, black cherry cola with decent acidity and fruity finish.
