Disappointing. You can sense the fruit behind this, but it's covered up by the God- forsaken oak. Instead of a fabulous rustic montepulciano ( the way it's supposed to be), this could be from California, Australia, east Buttplug- who knows? Why do this? Ruined a potentially great wine, and screwing with tradition From Abruzzo, not Tuscany.
