A fairly decent wine. Lighter than ideal, especially for a "crianza" from Ribera. Further, while initial impression/flavors are good, it fades quickly, leaving a slightly acidic aftertaste. Based on a 2014 vintage.

Nice nose, interesting first notes. Runs away quickly leaving room for unpleasant polialcohols and acidity. Pepper, nuts and spices.

What's not to love about drinking a Tempranillo in Mexico with spicy tacos? Given the food choice I'll refrain from commenting on the profile except to say it held up beautifully to the meal!

Massive wine but power was well balanced. Big brooding black fruit with leather and cigar box. Very tannic and super dry finish but give it 10 yrs and it would be 1 or 2 notches higher.
