Cantaloupe! Bodied, a little buttery but not too much. One of the few affordable whites in recent memory that I've enjoyed. — 8 years ago
In the discount bin, 2013 Old Vine Zinfandel. Phenom, medium to full bodied, slightly dry, great lingering flavored of berries and tannins. Held up to the homemade red pizza with peppers, and all the better for the $10 we paid! Wish we could have bought a case for our table wine. — 8 years ago
Frighteningly drinkable. Jammy, not dry, no heat. — 4 years ago
What's not to love about drinking a Tempranillo in Mexico with spicy tacos? Given the food choice I'll refrain from commenting on the profile except to say it held up beautifully to the meal! — 8 years ago
Mineral, citrusy, great clean nose, a slight acid. Good $10 bottle. — 8 years ago
Damn fine California Cab, and a deal at $36 in the restaurant. Classic cab body, super drinkable start, with an evolving finish that has hints if blackberry and... vanilla? Wonderful. — 7 years ago
2012. Dark cherry and pepper! So much body, incredible flavors. Initial taste is overwhelming. Let it breath for even a few minutes and the gentle slight mellowing into an outstanding wine. — 8 years ago
Drinkable! Not a great nose, but a sweetness that develops into jamminess. Bodied. — 8 years ago

A balanced but unremarkable Pinot. Honestly can’t remember much about it. Dry, earthy. Was expecting more character. — 4 years ago
