Definitely on the downhill slope brown sugar slight aldehyde the high acidity tart fruit would've love to had this 15!years earlier( sorry 1977 vintage )

I don't drink enough Vino Nobile, but when in the area... Very nice example of oaked Sangiovese, with red fruits, spices, and a little maturity.

£17.50 Wine Society Notes of sandal wood and touches of prescutto and smoky, mineral red berry fruits and lifted floral tones. In the mouth the fruit has a slight tannic edge and shows notes of ripe plum and blueberry, rather dense, ripe, very lovely! 91pts
