Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Sangiovese

Elegant, nicely resolved tannins. Fairly old school approach with tobacco, old leather, autumn leaves and brown fruits.

Red cherry, red flower on the nose, med plus to high tannin, licorice, lighter than I expected.

Hot and astringent

Definitely on the downhill slope brown sugar slight aldehyde the high acidity tart fruit would've love to had this 15!years earlier( sorry 1977 vintage )

I don't drink enough Vino Nobile, but when in the area... Very nice example of oaked Sangiovese, with red fruits, spices, and a little maturity.
