Jan 18th, 2017Great alternative to the Brunnello at a much lower price point. Opened up after just a few minutes in the bottle/glass. Great fruit & enough acidity to make it interesting. Excellent wine for food. Perfect pairing w/the ossobucco and risotto it went with!

Jan 23rd, 2016Paid $70 in Jan 2016 for 2012 (actual cost $39) at The Tin Roof Bistro in Manhattan beach. Did not live up to expectations. Flat finish. A bit chalky with very light flavor. Bad buy at $70
