Altazor Cabernet-Syrah Blend

Big and chewy lends to a bit out of balance. Lots of effort in production is obvious.

Tasted blind. Overt fruit, slightly rustic elements. Pronounced oak. Enjoyable but not sophisticated.

Rich fruity 😈 for £45 that will please most 😉 should age nicely but lovely now 👍

👄 Med++ bodied punchy rich plummy forest fruits w/ blackcurrant & raspberry coming through w/ a mocha & dry mineral undertone

🎯 Med+ touch dry mocha filled dark & red berry fruit splat 💥

Not my thing.

Heavy and bold, dominating Syrah notes of meat, coming across as raw meat notes and steak, Cabernet adds some graphite and a little green pepper.

Dark ruby red color and purple rim; very nice blackberry, chocolate, and wood aromas. Full-bodied with loads of ripe dark fruits and nice dark chocolate flavors. Very good balanced and texture with smooth tannins and pleasant long finish.

Best Chilean red I can recall !! Very nice blend; smooth, flavourful, elegant.

Perhaps one of the best in my entire life. Or at least one of the most delicious...!!
