Tonight's wine I have chosen was inspired by a reading from Eric Asimov recently that I wanted to try. The 2016 Uccelliera Rosso di Montalcino is a 100% Sangiovese wine.

On the nose I am finding notes of cherry, strawberry, plum, blackberry, leather, roses and spice.

The palate brings notes of cherry, strawberry, plum, cracked black pepper, spice, clay pot and a mild oak.

This wine is medium bodied with medium + acidity and medium + rounded tannins that moves smoothly into a medium to medium long fruit finish. Let's all have a great week and make the best of a bad situation. Please be safe and take proper precautions. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷
