Decanted 2 hours. Amazing depth, flavor, and complexity. Tobacco, cedar, leather, vanilla, oak, cassis, and strawberry jam. Mouth-filling and -coating tannins. Slightly acidic.

2010 is a great vintage and it shows. Coffee, dark cherry , smoke, this wine went fast. It was so well balanced with a long finish.

Grill a perfect thick sirloin and then can't resist rating this 9.4 out of 10. Mid weight but still heady and so full of rich herb - thyme and oregano - and grilled nectarine plus rhubarb. Soft leather note at the finish.
