#kosherwineSunday, and for Father's day, here is a beautiful red to celebrate.

Dark inky in color with a short brick/ purple rim.

Great nose of blackberries, blackcurrants, black plums, cherries, figs, vanilla, oak, eucalyptus, light alcohol, earth, leather, coke, chocolates, tobacco and herbs.

Full bodied and smooth, with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate and fruity, with blueberries, black currants, chocolates, tobacco, cedar, leather, vanilla, licorice, spices, light vegetables, pencil lead, black pepper and earth.

Medium finish with soft tannins and spices.

This is a great Cabernet blend from Israel. Showing great complexity and a smooth, soft mouthfeel.

Tasty and fruit forward, without being overwhelming. Gentle and elegant. Spicy finish makes it interesting.

Feels like a high quality Washington State Cabernet based Bordeaux blend, just to give you a reference.

I've had it before (a different vintage), but it was way too young. This 6 year old is drinking very nicely now.

A good quality wine and delicious.
Thank you Sharon, for sharing this with me.

I paired it with 3 different Brie cheese and crackers.

A blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Syrah. Grapes were sourced from a north-facing plot, on Terra-Rosa soil. Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels. Kosher. Not Mevushal.

15% alcohol by volume.

93 points.

$100 (current vintage).

Bright Ruby. Same profile than the Shoresh, but more opulent and forward. Red fruit, vanilla, oak and spice. Full body, long finish. Very good.

Bright red Ruby. Rich and jammy red fruit on the nose. Soft body, could use a little more acidity. Long finish. Good with brisket:-)
