OR Gewürztraminer 2022

Tzora Vineyards OR 2022, Israel

Light gold in color.

Beautiful and strong nose with lots of tropical fruits and honey.

Full bodied with high acidity and long legs.

Showing lychee, mango, light citrus, honey, melons, and ripe apples and oranges.

Long finish with honey and brown sugar.

This Israeli sweet wine is already drinking beautifully now, but still young.

Showing nice complexity with a nice mouthfeel.

Balanced and rich. Fruit forward and delectable. Just delicious.

I've had a few vintages of this wine, and it is so much better with some age. Will continue to age nicely in the next 15 years.

100% Gewurztraminer grapes were hand picked and frozen before they were crushed. A small production of under 1,500 bottles. Kosher.

9.5% alcohol by volume.

93 points.

Another hit from Tzora. Excellent Sauvignon Blanc provides strong citrus flavors that are perfectly balanced by Chardonnay to create an elegant white wine. — a year ago

Misty Hills Red Blend 2020

Pretty color of dark ruby, with a wide reddish rim.

Strong nose and fruit forward.

Full bodied, smooth and elegant, with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity and mouthfeel.

Showing black plums, cooked cherries, currants, oak, light vanilla, spices, dark chocolates, coffee, peppercorn, earth, tobacco leaf and herbs.

Long finish with round tannins and tangy cherries.

This young red blend is already drinking beautifully. It is full of chocolates and light earth notes. Interesting, rich and good by itself.

Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years. Has good potential to become a 94+ point wine.

Needs a couple of hours to open up properly, so be patient.

Drinking it with the winemaker, made it so much more special.

A blend of 51% Cabernet Sauvignon and 49% Syrah. Kosher and not Mevushal.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

92 points.

Shoresh Gewürztraminer 2013

An incredible gift from a guest @gezelligdining! First Israeli dessert wine. Crazy aromatics (floral, ripe tropical), incredible luscious texture, surprising acidity. Very happy right now — 8 years ago
