Tonight is another start to a beautiful weekend and I have opened the 2018 Twomey Sauvignon Blanc. Sourced from 56% Sonoma County Sauvignon Blanc grapes and 44% Napa County Sauvignon Blanc grapes.
On the nose there is white peach, honeydew melon, green apple, pineapple, white flowers and minerals.
On the palate I am getting really clean fruit notes of white peach, lime, grapefruit, green apple, guava, nice minerality and wet concrete.
This wine is light to medium bodied wit a juicy mouth feel and mouth watering medium + acidity that leads to a long crisp citrus finish. Have a wonderful weekend stay safe and be kind to one another. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂
