Turnbull Wine Cellars
Reserve Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon

A blend of fruit from Weitz (which they call Leopoldina) and Fortuna. Dark, rich, sumptuous and so inviting. A great example of the year and a superb value by Napa standards. Tasted during the Vinous Learn Oakville seminar π₯π€ͺπ.

Chocolate, cassis, blackberry and dark fruit. The tannins are mouthwatering. The structure is slightly off from last year in a good way. This wine is more silky and approachable and ready to go now.

From 3 liter
2 hour decant(little cloudy sediment). A dazzling deep dark magenta color. On the nose: blackberry, herbaceous, vanilla frosting, touch of cinnamon. Taste: smooth, soft silky wine with dark cherry, oak, baking spice, cedar, tobacco, and a slight tannic grip at the end. YUM!
