Zampatti Vineyard Zinfandel

Planted 1915, teeny-tiny vineyard in downtown Santa Rosa. Lovely fruit, light spice, lean but concentrated.

Love this expression of Zin every year but 2012 is particularly strong. A nice cross of mountain structure and rrv opulence.

Big ups to Tegan on this wine, great expression of site! Amazing texture and weight, loved the fruit on the wine.

This is a fresh and lively wine composed of dark cherries, blackberries, all spice and menthol. It even has a slightly gamey character but not pronounced. Drink now or hold.

Good but lacking. Too sour cherry not full body. Ok nose. Could it be too old? Wish it was better but not bad
