Heminway Vineyard Zinfandel

This is actually the Heminway Vineyard, 2011. I'm a rośe girl so that this with a grain of salt, but this one doesn't seem quite as heavy & jammy as other Turley Zins. Not bad.

Cozying up to the fire waiting out #hellastorm with this gem.

Well done. Powerful wine. Fruit gives it accessibility now.

Rich, fruity, deep, robust

Pretty purple with the edges starting to lighten up to ruby red. More restrained style - plenty of depth without being really jammy. Blue fruit gives way to chambord, grilled meat and cocoa with black tea on the long finish. Amazingly balanced for 15.7% alcohol. Turley continues to make some of the best Zinfandel around.

Heminway is sourced from the top of Green & Red's vineyard in Chiles Valley.

If your gonna be stuck inside, no better or bigger bottle than a Turley. Big bold and some nice Jam, definitely opened too early but hey it's why you buy two. At 15.8%...its a doozy.
