At PnP, the wine as a deep dark garnet. Tasted of dark cherries and plum, a touch cocoa or dark chocolate then white pepper and some tannins. After 2 hrs open, the very front had a touch of drag blueberry and the pepper had become more spicy like a black pepper. The oak notes emerged snd the tannic structure was revealed to be long & dense, which I have found to be delicious. A real great wine which I’m glad to have held onto.
