Slightly sour note on the nose, overripe black cherry, black plum. Pretty oak heavy. Med-high acids, medium tannins. Even though the nose tells a story of overripe fruit, my mouth tells me a story of underripe fruit. This reminds me of several of my own attempts to make wine from sub-par grapes!

Quite fulsome. Plummy, deep. Would have been great with beef, but still enjoyed very much. Alcohol a bit high.

Over-oaked. Plenty of fruit and some nice tannins but, lacks balance.

Nice smooth balanced wine. Slightly sweet for me. High oak, will be interesting to see where this goes on the next 5 years.
