A beautiful, well balanced Barossa Shiraz. Drinking nicely now and with the goods to go the distance. Not forced but still powerful perfectly ripe fruit.

For a 16 yr old Barossa Shiraz, this has the goods. Still youthful in colour, old vine Shiraz fruit flavour and integrated oak. Beautiful supple tannin. Perfect length. Very complex

Red fruited medium bodied, pepper/spice/liquorice long finish, fine tannins. Not your typical Barossan?

A deep red that’s consistent to its wide edges with considerable bricking. Funky but with class and a little elegance. On the nose, pleasant spice attacks first with plenty of old oak and some dark fruit. At 21 years old, there isn’t a ton of fruit left but what is there is still lively and dare I say it, fresh. As you may expect out of a Barossa Valley Shiraz, it’s rich and deep with smooth tannins. After a ton of air, she starts to give herself to you more and more with leather and hints of vanilla. The balance is just about perfect here at this age. Cocoa, plums, white pepper, and more leather on the palate. I don’t know how much longer she has, probably not much longer but she’s ready now. Give her some air and some time and you’ll end up happy.

Bought in HK for HK$380. Excellent texture on the palette, long last tastes and balanced tannins. Worth the money.

Celebrating the arrival home of Vivienne Olive. This is a brooding beast first out the bottle, which is the pleasantly and surprisingly smooth across the palate. All the usual berries, pepper that you would expect from a Barossa valley Shiraz.
