Still youthful. Definitely a new world pinot, but a delicious example of the style. The Magnum once again proves is superiority as an aging vessel!

Wow. Aged extremely well. Incredible body for a Pinot. Simply awesome. Unfortunately, my last 2007.

Deep ruby red in color. On the nose barnyard funk and petroleum predominate with a hint of fig. On the palate this wine is luscious and silky with prune, fig, cinnamon, cherry pie, oak, raisin, minerals, and clove. This is an elegant yet powerful Pinot that shines as the top of the SLH class of 2009.

Stewed fig, cocoa, pepper and clove. Beautifully and smoothly aged with excellent acid holding through the long finish.

Just showing signs of age. The fruit leans toward sundried fig. Everything is so well-integrated that the wine floats across the palate in a seamless, delicious sweet-tannin laced sheet. Great bottle of vino.

Ruby red and orange at the edge. Nose of strawberry and baking spices. Strawberry and cherry fruit forward with a hint of baking spices. Smooth and well balanced. Medium body.
