2012 vintage. Tart, juicy red plums and red currant on the nose with what I determine to be a candied pomegranate quality. It's sweet and has a sheen at the same time. The palate has a zesty acidity with elevated alcohol and some firm tannins. A well done grenache that shows vibrancy and verve.

A lot of fruit, but really nice. An impressive Grenache for the price point.

Hot. Fat. Lusty. It's wonton and you can't stop yourself. If it was $10 dollars less it would be my guilty pleasure. Great with bacon and Welsh cheddar on focaccia.
