Really ripe but not overpowerful and concentrated on the palate like the red rooster. Dried cherry and stewed plum on the nose, with raspberry, herbs, pepper, and some mocha on the palate. Surprisingly balanced for being 15.1%.. Nice Zin from a fantastic winemaker - VML

Excellent zin. Lots of fruit, of course, but balanced nicely by an earthy/minerally complexity I don't find in many zins.

Very mature & statuesque Zin - almost as if it was a Bordeueax appellation. Soft red fruit flavors with a peppery slant/finish. Most complex Zin I've had yet!
