Truett-Hurst
Swallowtail Chardonnay

Medium lemon with aromas of stone fruits and floral notes. On the palate simple flavors of peach and ripe apple. Medium finish ending with fruit and some spice. Just ok, better ones at this price point.

Nicely balanced but very typical California Chardonnay.

Surprisingly different California chard here! The heavy lemon biased scent and amber almost rosé color is a surprise. Almost thought something was wrong at first but tastes fine: smooth and heavy lemon-buttery. Citrus twang on the finish notes. In a world of sameness, I can appreciate a different approach: just don’t know if the execution here couldn’t be better...paired with Brie and figs to help balance this out which helped.

Unremarkable Chardonnay. Drinkable but not anything that jumped out as memorable to me.
