I agree with Davis, this is pretty great. Still has structure and a fruit balance with the right amount of tannins. Go figure that we were at Acquerello when we had this. We have a more recent vintage if this that we're going to save for a decade or more.

Italian wines generally take up a small space of my cellar but I really do enjoy them aged. This was no exemption.
Based on tonight's experience I have a few Travaglini's from the '80's that might see the corkscrew soon.
