Grapes crushed and macerated for 15 days in ss. Ages for three years in Slovenian oak. Light in color, cherries, rosemary and musk on the nose. Higher acidity with medium body, and chewy tannins. Bright Nebbiolo which can be held or enjoyed now.

Part of a mini-haul (thanks to Westchester Wine Warehouse for speedy and safe local delivery!). Chosen by what my parents wanted generally (eg Chianti) and then based off Delectable and Vinous reviews. Nothing particularly crazy and all entry-level prices, but something to pass the time 😇 and I’ve enjoyed the Travaglini before so I’m excited to try the rest! Especially that piña colada mix... anyone have favorites here or other entry-level suggestions to try in the next round? Chianti, Champagne, Riesling, Rioja, etc are big family favorites.
