Having my first Hungarian wine in Budapest - cool. Now I just need to find a really good one.

Jul 30th, 2018The nose is very merlot like (I hope there is some in the blend 😅), it's earthy, irony, cherry, blue berry and it has a tiny black pepper note, too. The palate is rather light on its feet, with a good acid drive, these earthy and cherry notes, a bit of width, a rater lively mouthfeel before a bit of a tannic wall, powering a long, somewhat tannic finish with strawberry and blueberry notes with that drying layer that goes on for a good while. It's 5 years old but it feels young as a yesterday's wine. Oh and it costs about 5 euro in retail here in Poland. Perfect daily "no-brainer" drinker for a ridiculously low price.
