May 20th, 2016Hot damn this is good if you're into very warm California style reds. Let it air for sure. Plums, mildly tart cherry flourished on the back palette with a rotting raspberry note. + acid, velvety tannins, faint coffee expression and some chewing tobacco. The oak is a little big for the vintage but that's part of the Brunello charm for me. Seems a bit extra on the oxidation with half a fingernail of orange on the rim.. duck and this brunello. #winenot
