Light, fruity. Not as dry as Cabernet. Little earthy.

Dark garnet color with purple rim. Very nice aromas of dried prune, red cherry, and sweet herbs on the nose. Full-bodied and then followed by full flavors of raisin, ripe bing cherry, and coffee on the palate. Dry, solid & smooth tannins, and nice long length at the end. Still my most favorite Primitivo at under Bt1,500.

Torcicoda refers to the method used by Italian fisherman to tie their nets. It is also emblematic of the logo found on the label. The wine is fantastic. Seems very fruit forward upon opening, but mellows quickly to a more balanced and enjoyable primativo after some resting. Wonderful.
