I don’t know if I would have guessed this as Chardonnay if guessing blind. Unique chard profile. Mango, bruised banana, orange blossom and honeysuckle. The profile of this was waxy and viscous. Sea salted honeysuckle, roasted cashews, guava. Not much acidity. More Marsanne/roussanne like than chard! Thanks @Mark Flesher

Always my go to vintner - a deep golden yellow in the glass, vanilla and tropical notes, a BIG chardonnay. Very good - no issues with the vintage.

Jun 24th, 2018Far less tropical than the Hyde, showing more citrus notes with hints of vanilla. Still a rich wine that is balanced with a great acidity. I love how Tor manages to create beautiful Chardonnays that manage to show aspects of both Burgundy and California at the same time and seem teeter just on the edge of restraint. Delicious.

Aug 26th, 2017Prior notes still hold true - an incredibly rich, balanced Chardonnay. Tropical fruit, brioche, salted butter - I just LOVE Tor wines. And at 7 years old this is still vibrant and drinking incredibly well.
