Another great Cabernet from Tor. Has deep blue fruit with great structure.

A barrel sample, the deep garnet-purple colored 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Tierra Roja Vineyard comes bounding out of the glass with notions of ripe red plums, Morello cherries and blackcurrant pastilles with hints of pencil shavings, violets and camphor. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is jam-packed with “Juicy red and black fruits, supported by firm, grainy tannins and background”. I can’t say it better than Parker! This is amazing - on the nose you get a damp concert barrel room. Deep dark fruit with dark chocolate and big grip with tannins that are semi-eternal. I under rated this last time - this is my wine of the year (so far). No wonder Parker loved this. Cheers

Still a little tight

This was still young but had lots of dark cherries, plums and earthiness. Just delicious.

Very smooth old-world-tasting Cabernet.
