Tor Kenward specialized in single vineyard CS from a few top sites, but the “Napa Valley” bottling is a blend of all the vineyards he works with. For 2014 the juice is predominantly from Melanson vineyard from Pritchard Hill, home to some of the most exquisite CS bottles in all of Napa - Chappellet, Bryant Family, Colgin, and Ovid.
Rich in black fruits but laced with red fruit freshness and elements of dusty earth, herbs, chocolate, and raisin. Luxurious mouthfeel. Broad yet precise. A refined beauty.

93-94. Nice flavors but not overly complex or deep. Some amazing vineyards go into this. Makes me realize how much that Louis martini Alexander valley cab over delivered when I blind tasted it against this. This still had more complexity than the Louis. Fine Cabernet.

Not bad. Very young and just poured from the bottle. Very tannic but could also be the mouth ulcers I have from eating a bag of atomic fireballs. Not a smart move

Mar 12th, 2017First Tor I've ever tried. Just delicious. My tasting was totally unfair to the wine. Fedex dropped the box off, I popped and poured that evening. Really young but opened up with an impressive range of classic Napa cab bold flavors and nuances. Should have ordered more.
