Dark red, nose of black fruit and sweet raisins, on palate a mouthful of ripe, extracted caddis and black fruit reminiscent of an Amarone but with darker fruit. As a sangiovese/cabernet blend it's as if the sangiovese was done ripasso and blended with beautifully vinified Cab. Lush and persistent finish. Much better than its price point.
