This is a very enjoyable Pinot Noir from Edna Valley in California. Fruit forward and nicely balanced with an elegant mouth feel.
Gentle and very tasty. Soft, smooth and spicy. Easy drinking and good by itself as a sipping wine.
This three-year-old is showing good potential, and will age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years. Showing nice complexity already.
As it opens up, soft tannins come in and give it good structure.
Grapes come from a Single Vineyard and were aged in French Oak barrels for 9 months (19% new).
I paired it with a cheese plate.

Pacific Wind vintage. Not really familiar with Pinot Noir but enjoyed this wine. Smooth, lighter style than expected from rich color and nose.
