Titus
Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bought and stashed it on recommendation. Finally opened it. Great body. Well rounded. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Dec 24th, 2015Oily purple with hints of red, substantial Napa Cabernet. Pepper and spice overpowered on opening. Once it breathed blackberry was predominant with some black licorice and black pepper. On the palate yet more blackberry with some oaky notes and tannins kicking in for a dry and somewhat sizzling finish. It's good... Just not great. One of those Napa Cabs that's trying to be something unique yet is in the end a manufactured taste. The grape doesn't shine - it is subdued by the process. Not bad.

Nov 25th, 2014Another one that I found in our cellar. Went to pizza joint to enjoy at sunset. Very good bottle of wine, however mildly on the dry side for me. Very good though.

Mar 3rd, 2014The color is deep purple. Very impressive nose of black fruit, cassis and some spice. Really good wine and drinking well. Give this about an hour or two to unwind. Delicious but think this needs food because of its power.
