Uco Valley Malbec
It's balanced, but it doesn't encapsulate what people ultimately are looking for in a Malbec

Fruity on the palate with cherries, blackberries, black currants, licorice, oak, vanilla, metals, chocolates, green vegetables, cloves, light barnyard and lots of peppercorn.
Full bodied with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and Fruity on the palate with blackberries, plums, currants, green pepper, earth, licorice, oak, vanilla and black pepper.
Medium plus in length on the finish, with firm tannins and black pepper.
A nice 100% Malbec from Mendoza, Argentina. Very approachable at opening, and changes after 2 hours of decanting.
A bit harsh, but nice with food. Might need another year or two, in the bottle. I Paired it with hard cheeses.
Grapes are grown at 4000 feet elevation, and aged for 9 months in French Oak barrels.
14% alcohol by volume.
