So identifiably Lodi. Loads of slightly muddy, gloppy fruit, low acid. No minerality. On the plus side, it was cheap and has a screwcap, and I needed to unwind in my posh Best Western room after a 10 hour drive livened by intermittent car trouble. And the 14.5% alcohol helped me do that.

Lodi AVA. Carignane, Petite Sirah and Zin. Spicy, mouthfulling and fresh. A fun wine and great value. Good spicy length. 2014 vintage. Abv. 14,5%.
