Rating is for the woman next to the Moscato. I'm on 26th vintage with her. On vacation in Lake Como.

First wine of our Austrian and Südtirol-Alto Adige wine (and skiing) exploration. Helpful owner of wonderful wine shop in the West End in Munich suggested this vintner. First time trying this grape. At first, smells and tastes like a nice dry riesling with good acidity and pear fruit...then finishes with a distinct sweet note - like Moscatel. Very interesting and enjoyable!

Semi-sweet, tastes like apples and vanilla. Elaine thinks it tastes like a greyhound :)
