Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo

Luminous pink-red. Bright aromas of red cherry, redcurrant, blood orange and botanical herbs. Then bright and juicy, with laser-like acidity lifting and extending the red fruit flavors on the juicy, long, floral and slightly saline finish. This has everything. First, that beautiful dark ruby color. As soon as you bring the glass to your nose you’re hit with beautiful rose petals, cherries and crushed rocks. The palate hits just as hard with a crazy mineral intensity, cherry lozenges, red currants, and wild herbs. Fruity, tart, bitter, mineral and fresh, all at the same time. What’s not to love? Can’t imagine this getting any more delicious but I bet it will age too.

For the price I wouldn’t hesitate to declare this perfect wine.

Like an undersized defensive end who could play outside linebacker. Could be a rose or a red wine. Fun to drink with a little chill to it.
