Cooked berries, baking spices, bit of black pepper. Double magnum for Thanksgiving, yum.

Wow. Just wow. If you like strong red wine with tart fruit and earthy minerals, this is your wine. Worth every penny.

Zinfandel dominates this one, smokey and spicy with fruity finish, plums, peaches and some lavender on the palate. Great blend.

Way zin heavy (55%), less Syrah than previous years. Fruit candy. A little off balance but delicious with pizza.

Not as fruit forward as the first time we had this. A bitter finish and a bit flat on the front. Blackberry and dark dried fruits. The alcohol content is a little of putting. Perhaps a victim of the 2011 year?

Oh yeah. Still delicious. Good fruit, nice finish, not much in tannins left but the body and structure are there.
