Deep ruby color. Ripe red fruit in the nose. Cherry fruit forward with cocoa and spice on the finish. Medium body, smooth texture with a hint of tannins. Good acidity. A decent value pinot. My wife and I split based on preference.

Thinish California Pinot Noir , a little musty on the nose, but smooth, low acid and tannin, nice grape flavor and a little tang (Star)

When the bottle is festooned with the rating, I invariably eschew said referenced bottle. However, this is a Pinot worth riding into town and absconding with a bottle and whatever loot presents itself to oneโs outlaw sensibilities.
