Opaque violet color with dark fruit, tobacco, and sweetened cacao aromas. On the palate, it's medium-bodied with dusty tannins, and cassis, fresh cherry, blackberry, and bittersweet chocolate flavors. Medium finish. Blend of 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, 8% Merlot, 5% Syrah, 4% Petit Verdot, and 1% Malbec. 14.5% alcohol

At home drinking (I think) my last bottle of this wine. Not remembering how or why I acquired this or the price point. This wine has held up surprising well.

I found this yesterday while organizing my collection and was pleasantly surprised by how well it has held up. The “sixty seven” on the label represents the percentage of cab in this interesting blend.

Still a lot of tannin and plenty of concentration. Tastes like a wine 2 or 3 times the price.

2007. Opened another bottle and this is getting better. Smooth, slightly chalky with buttery cocoa and tobacco flavors.

Not a pop open and drink. Once it opened up, was pretty solid. 67% cab sauv, 13% can franc. Good change of pace
