smells slightly floral and vanilla. Full bodied, sweeter to finish. Not sugary. Pairs well with meatballs and red sauce. Needs some room to breathe. Really looking forward to how it opens up over the next hr.

Very dark red, almost purple with black fruit aromas and peppery spice notes. The palate shows plum and blackberry flavors, some oak, gentle acidity and tannins a bit on the firm side. Enjoyable. Tasting Sample.

Deep and rich. Paired well with Christmas dinner: lamb chop, pork tenderloin, and beef tenderloin. Balanced tanins finish off rich, dry dark berries and plumbs. Long finish.

Pleasant, easy drinking but full bodied. Not overly fruity, a little bite but good on its own or with dinner.

High tannins. Concentrated. Super dark color. Cherry aroma. Kicks you right in the teeth. Spiced vanilla.

Street tacos and Disney films and a lovely drizzly evening...we enjoyed the 2015 version of this guy immensely so an easy decision to take it for another spin...plum licorice to the nose...plum spice licorice nectarines and believe it or not...mud...wet mud on the palate. Nice tannin and acid balance. Med finish. Lovely..just lovely...

As usually happens in life we sometimes have great surprises... this guy is a prime example of that..an increadable value coming out of the great down under. Dark plum acetone and spice to the nose. Slightly sweet plum dark fruit followed by licorice spice pepper to the palate. Nice mouthfeel but a bit watery on the back end. Velvety tannins and a med plus finish. A very enjoyable experience at an amazing value.
