Much prefer this type of cab vs Napa popsicles. Has a tart bite to it when newly opened. Balanced tannins, maybe even on the shy side (for a cab). Easy to drink. — 6 years ago
High tannins. Concentrated. Super dark color. Cherry aroma. Kicks you right in the teeth. Spiced vanilla. — 6 years ago
Sour cherry, other bright red fruit. Soft, delicate tannins but they’re still present enough to round out the fruit. Still haven’t had a bad Willamette. — 6 years ago
Weird wine (in a good way). Mourverdres are always a crapshoot for me, completely all over the map. This one smells like thin sugar and rubbing alcohol despite the lower abv. Light to medium body? Lighter red color. — 6 years ago
I want to pretend like I’m above it (cuz Kendall Jackson) but I like this wine anyway. Full body, smooth, sugary, I’m American and I like it. That’s fine. — 6 years ago
This shits sugary AF. I’m not sad about it but that’s cuz we’re three bottles into a Wednesday night. Struggling to find the complexity here but it’s just a mashup of sweet red. Dude I work with talked up Austin Hopes GSMs, this has zin and petite syrah as well and I’m wondering why. Did someone actually sit there and think ‘ya know what else this needs? Some petite fuckin syrah and zin! That’s what this needs!’
Ima call it a win cuz drunk and also a friend brought it so free. Wouldn’t pay for it myself. — 6 years ago
FINALLY a Napa cab that actually has the tannins to balance the fruit. Rounded enough to make it smooth, velvety and elegant. This my shit y’all ❤️❤️❤️ steal for 20 bucks — 6 years ago
Dried raisins. Smooth. Round tannins. Aroma of hotel carpet, probably a la Quinta. Maybe rug doctor shampoo? I dunno. Opens up to tasting like a Sangiovese with more complex personality. It almost smells like there’s a white wine in it. Very enjoyable, different than most wines that I drink. Probably wouldn’t pay $25 for it again but that’s based more on my budget than its value. — 6 years ago

This is lovely! Smooth and elegant. Dark fruit, sweet but still complex if you take your time with it. Cherry cola. Anise at the end. May have found a new addition to the rotation. — 6 years ago
