Intense. That's the best word to describe this; and underlying spicy almost salty note with overly ripe fruit that tastes like it was baked by the sun. Still easy drinking, but even after leaving the bottle open for two days and going back to taste it again its hardly mellowed out at all, with the exception of some of the saltier flavors and the tannins.
