Dark color with overt oak characteristics on both nose and palate. Extremely tropical with concentrated pineapple and lime zest flavors. Malo lends some creaminess to help subdue the tropical character on the finish. 14.5% is apparent from the midpalate through the finish and contributes to the whole package being just a bit out of focus.

A blend of all estate vineyards.
Most malo of all tasted.
Vanilla, lemon meringue, clove and a wee allspice on the closing notes.
Represents a very well crafted, expertly crafted wine but it has a bit of a generic character of 'Cool climate California Chardonnay'.
The ticket price of $95 retail is an expensive admission for this show.

Deep color. Buttery at first but nice finish. May 2018.
