The nose could be more aromatic. The palate is smooth. Medium bodied. Well made. Beef bouillon, wet smoke, fresh Green fig. It’s a savory wine that’s easy to drink.

Impressive stuff here: inky & opaque showing no signs of age - strutting all kinds of rich ripe black & red fruits along w/milk chocolate, tobacco & whiff of sweet sweet spice. (Reminded me of a really good Petite Sirah on nose & palate) Decadent nose and very suave and smooth on palate with fine grained tannins. Lacking in acidity & shortish finish sort of let this down on the back end.

Great wine for its price. Very well balanced. I had it with lamb wellington and that was a great pairing. Pepper, jammy, plums with liqorice in the nose

Dense and strong. Develops an amazing coffee caramel nose when left in the decanter for a while
