St. Romain Chardonnay

Just a terrific example of mature white Burg - I really loved this.

Elegant and soft aromas of white flowers, acacia and myrobalan plum. Fresh and mineral in the palette with medium+ acidity. Lemony and limy aftertaste with medium length.

Pear or cinnamon?, liquor like aroma and flavor. Nuts. Sour. White flower. Thierry et Pascale Matrot St. Romain Chardonnay 2018 @1350, domaine -, 210316-210510

Drinkable but doesn’t meet the name.

Perfect balance between acidity and oakiness. Good minerality and nice fruity finish. Complex and refreshing.

we loved this! had it with dinner in Aix en Provence. Rich but not overly buttery, lemony finish. This was Ben’s fave! It’s Cote de Beaune
