At first I found this undrinkable because of the manure smell. But after a day being open it’s wonderful. Smoky aroma. Smooth balanced palate that keeps on giving. Charred plums, smoke, tobacco, white pepper, cinnamon, unsweetened cocoa. It’s a Christmas gift that keeps on giving.

Expressive minerality and red fruit. Bolder than I would’ve expected from gamay. More like an extracted pinot.
