Rosé de Loire Cabernet Franc Rosé

Jalapeño, chalk, powdered strawberry, melon, rose hips. Always a surprise.

Nose has Clementine peel, ripe strawberry, moist chalk, sea salt, cotton candy and dried cherries.

Palate has ripe strawberry, tart orange, orange zest, watermelon rind with great acidity and a medium finish.

Lovely bottle, landed at $15! Is it the cure, not sure, but I'm one step closer to gathering with groups of wine-loving friends again.

Lovely fresh wild berry fruit with a healthy hit of pyrazine and flowers. Great intensity and acid - will see if I can hold my remaining 2 bottles a year or two to see how things evolve...

Popped yesterday. A touch of sulfury reduction then. Today: watermelon, sea salt, a hint of green pepper spice. On the palate: fantastic acidity, pepper, soft watermelon and soft cranberry. It was 50 and raining in LA yesterday, and sunny today (similar temp)...rose weather, right?

88F in LA Today. I'm going with it.

So solid...this time by the pool.

A touch of reduction, which was less apparent than my last btl anf blows off with air, and then lovely vegetal watermelon and cranberry. Very nice juicy finish.
