Deep brick red core with lighter edges. Nose has some chalkiness, light cocoa, dried dark berries and damp earthiness. Medium tannins (5/10) and higher acidity. Quite earthy on the palate and dry with some red and black cherries. Medium to medium plus finish. Drink now.

Garnet red with some bricking on the edges. Classic SA funk with some chalk, bell peppers, barnyard and slightly savory too on the nose. Moderate tannins (6/10) and medium plus bodied. Some soft greenery and earthy with some fruit in the background. Fruit has some dark berries and smooth in the medium plus finish. Solid Merlot out of South Africa. Drink till 2019.

Full smokey bodied, aromas of lapsang souchong all the way through, strong presence of leather and animal.
