I want to like this, there's a lot of lemon custard and some green tea notes, and wool, lanolin or is that downright mousyness?
Lemon continues it's theme on the palate, and there is a subtle sur lees creaminess and a high acid level. There's something off about this wine and it's hard for me to pinpoint but it's the same way that if someone gave you a glass of still water that was actually flat sparkling water you would say that it didn't quite sit right. Maybe it's the sur lees creaminess and the heavy handed use of acid?
